Our team of Dentists, Hygienists and Dental Care Professionals adhere to the rules governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) “Standards for Dental Professionals”.

We insist upon a high level of cross infection control to ensure the safest possible environment for you to be treated in. During your treatment, single use items are used where possible and all other items undergo a strict cleaning and sterilisation process.

Principal Dentist

Dr Kenny Doig

Kenny trained at Dundee Dental School, qualifying in 1988. He has since worked mostly in Boston and set up The Private Dental Centre in 2004 and over the years the team has grown to become the premier private practice in the area. Being passionate about training, he introduced the practice to Investors in People and the British Dental Association (BDA) Good Practice Scheme – attaining gold membership in both. 

He has lectured to trainee dental nurses and delivered a series of seminars on infection control for the BDA. At Sheffield Dental School he has helped oversee undergraduate dentists, hygienists and therapists in their training to join the profession.

Along the way Kenny undertook further graduate training and holds a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Away from dentistry Kenny likes nothing more than cycling around Lincolnshire and further afield when time allows.

Dr Viktoria Portugal

Viktoria graduated in 2003 at the University of Semmelweis, Budapest in Hungary and thereafter gained invaluable experience and further qualifications in her home country. She started working in the UK in 2011 as a general dentist and now has a special interest in endodontics (which is treatment such as Root Canal Therapy). Viktoria moved to Lincolnshire in 2013 and has been working in Sleaford since that time. She is dedicated to ensuring the best interest of her patients and finds it a pleasure to help them improve their oral health.

In her spare time, Viktoria loves to connect with nature, going for walks with her husband and boxer dog, Ragnor.

Dr Kelly Chambers

With a diverse background in dental care, including training as a dental nurse, hygienist, and achieving an MChD in dental surgery, Kelly has a comprehensive skill set to provide exceptional dental services. She is also trained in dental implants and facial aesthetics, ensuring a holistic approach to oral health and rejuvenation.Outside work, Kelly enjoys baking, going to the gym and gardening.

Beth Doig

Beth started working at Long Sutton Dentistry in 2013 as a trainee Dental Nurse. Eager to learn and expand her skills further she then moved to Leeds to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy. After qualifying from Leeds Dental Institute in 2016 Beth moved back to Lincolnshire and re-joined the Long Sutton team. She now works 3 days per week alongside our dentists and enjoys getting to know her patients and making their experience as relaxed as possible.

Beth lives with her partner Drew and their beautiful baby, Ada. Beth is a country girl at heart and loves being outdoors so spends her spare time at the stables with her horses and sheep. She also loves spending time with her three dogs, Nala, Hazel and Belle. Last but not least, you may recognise the surname as she is Kenny’s daughter!

Lucy Chamberlain

Lucy originally worked as a dental nurse here in The Private Dental Centre before going on to Sheffield University to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Since qualification she has worked at our Long Sutton Practice and has moved back to Boston to reduce her commute.

Lucy is married to Chris and she loves nothing more than spending time out on the countryside with him and their fur baby, Alfie.

Sarah Noé

Sarah has been with the practice for 16 years and has been practice manager since 2007 she is the figurehead of a very busy ship. She works mainly in the office maintaining protocols and keeping the practice up to date, but on the odd occasion is let out to cover reception meeting the customers which she very much enjoys!

​Sarah manages “the troops” and works alongside the staff and the partners. She has a very positive sunny outlook which sometimes comes in very handy!

In her free time Sarah can be found at the side of a football pitch cheering her son on, and when time allows her favourite thing to do is coffee and cake!!!

Business Manager

Samantha Wright

Sam, set up Long Sutton Dentistry in 2013 alongside Kenny. She qualified as a dental Nurse in 1999 and took her degree in Patient care co-ordination in 2009. In 2013 Sam completed her Btec national diploma in management.

Sam enjoys cooking and eating…mainly eating.

Time allowing, Sam loves walking Angus and reading, anything from classic Jane Austin to gritty crime thrillers. She also has a penchant for country music, but will never admit to loving a bit of Dolly Parton.

Sam’s life goals are simple, to buy Rob a shed and a tortoise and to survive her daughter Gracie’s teenage years. But most of all, laughter and lots of it.

Tracey moved to Boston and then started her career in dental nursing in 2000 a mighty 23 years ago!

In her spare time she enjoys walking in the countryside and like most ladies, loves a few shopping trips in the cities along the way!

Emma Fitzgerald-Rust

Emma joined the team in 2019 and she loves every aspect of working within the dental profession.

At the weekends she likes to do a little antique hunting, especially mid-century art glass, and spend some quality time having coffee with her dad.

A fan of good food, she loves to experiment with new dishes and often competes with her husband to create the best dinner of the week. Her favourite thing to do when relaxing is to snuggle up on the sofa with her two dogs and husband while indulging in some gaming on the Playstation or watch a true crime documentary together.

Courtney joined the practice in January 2020 and is a fantastic addition to the team.

Courtney is currently our cross-infection lead within the practice, and is responsible for keeping us up-to-date with any changes.

Louise Whyers

Louise qualified as a dental nurse in 2012 and worked in Beccles before moving to Boston in 2016. She really enjoys dental nursing and working as part of a team.

In her spare time, Louise enjoys baking cakes and playing bowls – which she has done at club, County and International level!

Ellie is the newest member of the team. She is a trainee dental nurse and has just enrolled onto the dental nurse academy course.

Ellie likes to be busy and kept on her toes which is why she likes dental nursing.

She plays competitive netball in her spare time as she loves anything sporty.

Karen Woods

Having previously worked in a dental practice before having her family Karen joined us 13 years ago and has taken on the position of Head receptionist and is a huge asset to the practice with her natural management and nursing skills.

Karen enjoys playing Badminton to keep fit.

Her other passion is food however she is not a great cook!

Clare joined the practice in 2010 as part of the front desk team and will be one of the friendly faces you see when you visit us.
