If you’ve followed The Private Dental Centre on social media channels over the past few years, you will have seen that raising money for charity and giving back to our local community is something that we place great importance on as a business. Whether it’s’ a coffee morning, a muddy obstacle course or climbing a mountain, our team are always up for the challenge!
One initiative that we’ve been proud to help is a five year charitable fundraising drive chaired by The Private Dental Centre Director, Jez Hyland, for the Lincolnshire Freemasons.
To help raise money, Kenny, Jez and a team of friends climbed Kilimanjaro in 2023, successfully made it to Everest base camp in 2024 and completed the UK 3 Peaks earlier this year.
In total, these expeditions have contributed £20,000 to a total of more than £3 million raised by the Lincolnshire Freemasons over the past five years, a record amount!
Not only do the Masonic Charitable Foundation give more than £50,000 to non masonic charities every day, but they will also channel more than £3 million back into our local community over the next decade, supporting organisations such as the Lincolnshire Emergency Blood Bike Service, the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance Service, Samaritans, the hospice movement, and Carers First.
Special thanks to Dean (Tracey’s husband), Rob (Sam’s husband), Cameron (Kenny’s son), Steve, Andy, Marcus, Dave, Baz, Colin, Ian, Thoms, Paul E, Paul G, Dan and Reuben for joining us on these once in a lifetime experiences.
Who knows where we’ll head next year!
