Sleepwell is a custom-made dental appliance worn at night to help reduce snoring by gently holding the lower jaw slightly forward while you sleep, helping to keep the airway open and reduce vibration of the soft tissues at the back of the throat.

Designed with comfort in mind, each Sleepwell appliance features a soft inner lining and allows the jaw to move naturally from side to side, making it easy to wear throughout the night. Custom-fitted to sit securely over the upper and lower teeth, it feels as unobtrusive as possible while delivering effective snoring relief.

Patient Journey

Under the care of Dr David Trawford and the experienced team at The Private Dental Centre, your Sleepwell treatment follows a simple three-appointment journey designed to improve your sleep comfortably and effectively.

  • Appointment 1 – Assessment and impressions (30 minutes): We assess your snoring and take impressions of your teeth to create your bespoke Sleepwell device.
  • Appointment 2 – Fitting and delivery (30 minutes): You’ll receive your Sleepwell appliance and be shown how to wear, clean and adjust it for comfort and effectiveness.
  • Appointment 3 – Review and adjustment (15 minutes): We review your progress and make any final adjustments to ensure optimal comfort and results.
